You are not alone. Emotional and behavioral health challenges can affect older adults at any stage of the aging process. Support is available through the Behavioral Health Outreach for Aging Populations (BHOAP) program.

Behavioral Health Outreach for Aging Populations (BHOAP)

Through BHOAP, the Greater Boston Chinese Golden Age Center’s BeHeart Center provides culturally and linguistically appropriate behavioral health services to adults age 60 and older throughout Massachusetts. Services are available in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Our experienced behavioral health team works with each individual to understand their concerns and develop a personalized plan of care. Services may include:

BeHeart’s goal is to help older adults improve their emotional well-being, reduce isolation, strengthen coping skills, and remain safely and independently in their communities. Family members, caregivers, healthcare providers, and community organizations may also contact us to make a referral.
